Working Principle of Ring Die Poultry feed Pelletizer/Pellet Machine
      When the ring die pellet mill starts to work, the material from the feed inlet goes into a pre-conditioner, in which other ingredients are added depending on the target product and steam is injected to start the cooking process. When the material temperature is maintained about 64- 84°C and moisture between 14- 1 6%, the material can enter the granulating chamber with high speed rotary and distribute through scraper to ensure feed evenly. Then the material is pressed into a rotating ring die with the help of two press rolls which are free to rotate on their respective shafts. The resulting pressure compresses the material and extrudes it in cylindrical form through the radial holes in the die.At last, the outer-side stationary knives cut the pellets to a pre-set length.

Feed Pellets Making Process
1. Material selection: Choose materials and suitable additives that can provide the different nutrients that animals need.
In addition, the content of each material should be strictly controlled, as it directly affects the durability of the particles.
2. Crushing: Crush the materials into powdery materials by feed hammer mill.
3. Mixing: Mix the crushed ingredients evenly by feed mixing machine.
4. Pelletizing: In this step, material modulation and physical condition control are critical to particle quality. Heat, water time and quantity, steam are important factors in granulation. The diameter and die thickness of the feed pellet machine
also affect the quality of the pellets, the relative pellet hardness and the yield of the pellet machine.
5. Cooling: In fact, it is not necessary to make feed pellets at home, as small capacity production allows feed pellets to
cool naturally. But for relatively high productivity, pellet coolers can be very helpful and save farmers a lot of time.
6. Packing: pack the pellets into bags and onto pallets.
